Oprah Approved Quotes For Letting Go & Moving On

There’s a struggle in starting over and moving forward with your life after what you thought you knew or prepared for suddenly changes.  It’s important to surround yourself with support, both physically and mentally.

In my own journey to Start Over, I struggled with accepting reality; the reality that you cannot change or control others, as well as the reality that those closest to your heart do not always know how to protect it.

It is now a daily practice that I speak affirmations into my life as a reminder of who I am and what I will/won’t accept going forward.  This challenges me to take ownership of my own role in the undesirable situations I have faced.

To be truly renewed I had to be honest about my own faults.  By nature, I am not a fighter.  I am more accepting and always try to “understand” where the other person is coming from.  In this, I lost sight of what was most important to me. I did not insist on being valued and respected because I was too busy being considerate.

“Can you relate?”
