It’s the moment of truth, well sort of.  Sometimes I wonder if I’ve been open enough with you.  Do you really know the things about me that would make you feel like we are real friends? We’re friends, right? I hope we’re building a friendship.  One aspect of being friends is being honest.  So read on to find out 10 Random things about me you’d never know if I didn’t tell you.

  1. I’m a Trey Songz fanatic.  Not a crazy obsessed stalker type, but the type who has his songs on repeat but won’t let you listen with me.

  2. I am a foodie who loves to cook but usually prepares the same things because my family doesn’t embrace change well. Lol

  3. I am not afraid of heights but am terrified of roller coasters. Once I stood in line with my son and was fearful all the way to the top of the water slide. When it was our turn to load the raft I chickened out and let my son ride down with random strangers.  See what had happened was….

  4. I love to travel and belong to a professionals travel group, DDT, that has exposed me to a new island every summer. It’s an awesome experience to see other parts of the world. (That’s a picture of me in Aruba.  It’s a beautiful island. Have you been?)

  5. I plan to move to the Dominican Republic as soon as my son turns 18 and starts his own life. He’s only 7 so I have a few more years to wait.  I’m working on my business and budget to make sure that I reach this goal.

  6. Before starting my Life Coaching Agency, A Renewed Mind, I was anti-Facebook. I hate to share my personal business with strangers.  Call me crazy but if we are friends then you already know how to reach me and what’s going on in my life. I’m just saying.

  7. Now that I am using Facebook for my business I am always on it (too much) checking my newsfeed and various groups I’m in. So now I’m the exact person I was trying not to be.  Do I get a pass since it’s technically for business purposes?

  8. I lost my grandmother in 2004 and did not return to Maryland for almost 10 years because I could not face being there without her. During that timespan I was suffering from depressive symptoms but never knew what it was. All Better now, so no worries.  I only share because We have trouble speaking about mental health issues but the struggle is real.

  9. I have 1 son who is begging for siblings but I am DONE!!!!!!!

  10. I love wine but 3 glasses is my limit because you’ll find me laughing at every little thing after that.

Bonus –  I LOVE Biggie, Diddy and everything Bad Boy!  I was wishing for Biggie to live in Notorious even though I knew the outcome.  I still blast every Biggie song when the radio stations honor him.  I was once (twice) fooled by friends into thinking Diddy (then Puff Daddy) was coming to my birthday party.  I was crazy about that man.  His drive for success is contagious.  Let any Bad Boy song come on and you will find me doing my Diddy Dance. Take That, Take That, Take That….

Ok so now that I’ve shared a little bit about me,  leave a comment and share some randomness.   We’re all beautiful in our uniqueness.
